Dr. Mac Visits Washington Apple Pi Today and Saturday

With the arrival of Bob "Dr. Mac" LeVitus today (Friday, July 14), members of Washington Apple Pi, the Washington DC metropolitan area AMUG, are invited to three special events.

First, Bob will present a special seminar, Power-User Productivity in Mac OS X Tiger at the Apple Store at Tyson's Corner from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 14. Don't miss this unique opportunity to spend some quality time with one of the world's leading authorities on Mac OS X and the author of Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger For Dummies. The session will feature a myriad of tips, hints, tutorials, shortcuts, product demos, timesaving software recommendations, where to find what you need on the Web, and much more.

Second, the Annual Washington Apple Pi Picnic with Special Guest Bob "Dr. Mac" LeVitus will be held from 11:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 15.

Finally, following the Picnic, Bob will give his favorite presentation, GarageBand 101: So You Want To Be a Rock ‘n Roll Star at 5:00 p.m. at the Tyson's Corner Apple Store. If you want to make music with GarageBand, this session is the perfect introduction. He'll show how to record, mix, and master a complete rock and roll song--using guitar, bass, drums, and vocals--all in 1 hour. [Bill Fox]
