Apple released QuickTime Broadcaster 1.5.2 update. It is available via Software Update if you have an earlier version of QTB installed or as a stand-alone file from this Apple Web page or via MacUpdate.com. QuickTime Broadcaster allows one to produce a live broadcast event and allows anyone with an Internet connection to "virtually" attend.

Here's what's new in QuickTime Broadcaster 1.5.2:

QuickTime Broadcaster 1.5.2 delivers increased compatibility with Mac OS X Leopard and provides important bug fixes.

We downloaded QTB 1.5.2 via Software Update on a Mac mini Core Duo and as a stand-alone file and installed it on a MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo. We haven't used QTB but the installations went fine. [Bill Fox]
