Apple Bad News: Reader Tom Brown "...went to the Macintosh Road Show in Novi, Michigan yesterday. What a
tremendous disappointment. They did have 11 Macs set up to take a peak
at - even the anniversary edition with Bose speakers. But after waiting
for about an hour for the Mac demonstration and free CD's, pins, Apple
antennas, and other free stuff - the only demonstration of why one
should buy a Mac was the showing of 'You don't know Jack CD' while
using the Mac as a PC - No mention of anything else - my 7th grade
students could have put together a better exhibition in an hour! What a
huge!!! disappointment - Don't waste your time if the show comes to your
town!"
