Some new software out in the past two weeks:
- Netscape Communicator 4.01a -- fixes a security bug.
- Jeffrey Hester wrote that Bedlam 2 v1.0.1 is available -- a great "Space Invaders" game.
- GoMac 1.31(84K) -- adds a Windows 95-style task bar.
- MacIdentifier 2.2 (258K) -- tells you what Mac you're using.
- Aaron Light 1.0 (102K) -- for Mac OS 8, adds Mac OS 8 look to all apps.
- SmoothType 1.3 (78K) -- eliminates font jaggies but fuzzes some too much.
- FreePPP 2.6 (1.1MB)-- now only with GearBox 1.1 (demo or full). FreePPP 2.6 Setup will be out soon as FreePPP 2.6.1.
- Apple System Profiler 1.2.2 (477K) -- as the name reads.
- Other Apple Software Updates--be sure to read the info files:

- RunTime Java 1.5
