Installation procedure and time
-- MSO98 is the model for installing software. There's no temperamental installer to screw up. Simply copy the 77 MB folder (439 files) from the CD to your hard drive. It took under 3 minutes on my 9600 but a bit longer (I think under 10 minutes but I didn't time it exactly) on my 7100/80. Launching any of the applications the first time requires the CD key number and causes all of the applications to be installed automatically. Despite what you've read, there are things (like updated MS common library extensions) that end up in the system folder. An older MS OLE extension and three font suitcases ended up in the trash.
