Overview
VISION POWER is a Business Division of the Swee Hong Group, Swee Hong Exim Pte Ltd. VISION POWER is a worldwide hardware and software platform supplier to companies that provide computer solutions and consumer electronic product supplier. It is comprised of these areas of focus: Mac OS business, Networking, Communications and Consumer Electronics. VISION POWER's strategy is to deliver high-performance PowerPC platforms and solutions for Mac OS to targeted areas such as graphics-intensive applications, multimedia, the Internet, Eductainment, Small to Medium Entprise ( SOHO), Major Corporate Business. VISION POWER corporate worldwide headquarters is located in Singapore. Our manufacturing site is located in Taiwan and Indonesia, where state-of-the-art facilities produce VISION POWER leading edge products. VISION POWER can boast that its products are manufactured at these facilities.

History
It was in 1972 that Ronald Chang founded Swee Hong Exim Pte Ltd in Singapore. The company enjoyed great success distributing consumer electronic products manufactured by brand name manufacturers like Sanyo as well as our own products Today, Swee Hong is one of the Asia leading manufacturers, distribution house of consumer electronics, micro computers, networking, communications and semiconductors. Major equipment businesses include: cellular equipment, data communications, personal communications, consumer electronics and and computers.

VISION POWER Standards of Quality
Quality of products and standards are of utmost importance to VISION POWER. VISION POWER quality control has been one of the driving forces in achieving an international reputation for high quality manufacturing. Factories manufacturing VISION POWER products has been awarded ISO 9001 certification, quality assurance guidelines for developing a documented quality system which has been adopted by over 50 countries. The factories have incorporated strict qualtiy criteria, the ISO 9000 process and the internal quality system review into an integrated quality system which focuses on customer driven quality and continuous improvement.

VISION POWER Product Lines
Factories for VISION POWER products has developed innovative design approaches that set its products apart from the competition. These include: modularity, scalability, portability and interoperability.

Servers and Systems
The PowerMax Pro 604e and PowerExpress 603e family of PowerPC-based, Mac-compatible personal computers offers a strong price/performance ratio advantage, multimedia-rich feature set and 1-year warranty, our most comprehensive warranty plan in the industry. The VISION POWER Mac compatible personal computer family consists of an entry-level PowerExpress 603e series in desktop and mini tower configurations and high-performance PowerMax Pro 604e series in mid-tower configuration. Both series are available worldwide through our reputable distributors.

Applications/Software
VISION POWER develops close relationships with software vendors to ensure the availability of key software applications for the PowerPC platform. These include software packages for multimedia, desktop publishing, the internet, eductainment, small to medium size business and major corporate business. VISION POWER established the PowerPC Turnkey Solutions Section to accelerate the commitment and availability of software applications for desktop systems and servers running on the PowerPC platform.

Mac OS Licensing Strategy
In November 1996, VISION POWER begin selling Mac OS compatible computers for worldwide market. VISION POWER is here to sell, support and service VISION POWER-branded, PowerPC systems which support the Mac operating system (versions 7.5 and the next major release). The VISION POWER's PowerMax Pro 604e and PowerExpress 603e family Mac-compatibles reinforce VISION POWER's strategy in the PowerPC Reference Platform (formerly known as CHRP) plan as identified in the Apple, IBM and Motorola (AIM) alliance. The PowerPC Reference platform translates to high-performance systems which will have the capability of running a variety of industry-standard operating systems. These systems will meet the needs of the enterprise marketplace by providing multiple operating environments on one platform. We anticipate that PowerPC Platform systems will be available very soon in the near future.

Strategic Alliances
VISION POWER has established strong relationships with key industry leaders including Apple Computer, Claris, Microsoft, Global Village Communications, Connectix, Specular etc. to provide leading edge software based on different customers requirements to the worldwide market. By promoting Mac OS computers since November 1996 , VISION POWER will significantly increase the Mac marketplace, allowing each company to grow and further succeed. PowerPC offers VISION POWER customers and our partner vendors customers an attractive computing solution.
