Bug In G4 At 450 MHz?

A Photoshop 5.5/Altivec bug was covered Tuesday on Accelerate Your Mac!. Reader experience points to the bug being created by the 400 MHz G4 chip running at 450 MHz. From Mike Breeden, "I've verifed this one myself. Twirl filter on JPG file results in unwanted color bars in the image." Mike is using a PowerMac G4/450. Not good.
