Final Word--Internet Explorer 5.0

Well, after using IE 5.0 for a week I'm hooked. I reinstalled IE 5.0 and none of the problems that I initially encountered have recurred. I used the Auction Manager extensively and, while it could be significantly improved, it was a real help with tracking several eBay auctions. I found the Internet Scrapbook to be a very useful feature for capturing complete web pages, images and all, for later viewing. The attractiveness of the interface is in the eye of the beholder. I did and still do like IE 4.5's interface much better but 5.0's is fine--I have it set to PowerBook Black on my 2400c, Blueberry on my B&W G3 and Graphite on my G4. Fortunately, there's no beige for older Macs so they can pick any color, they all are compatible. I haven't experienced the large memory leak of IE 4.5 so that issue seems to have been solved. I love how fast web pages load in response to the "Back" arrow--it puts Communicator 4.72, the latest from AOL/Netscape, to shame.
