PowerBook G4s

are still listed for sale under the "Back to School" items on Outpost.Com as of publication time! Unfortunately, it is a typo in the ad tile. Click on it and the succeeding page lists the new G3 PowerBook (FireWire) models. [Brian Jones, 8/28, 7:56am ET] I don't really expect to see a PowerBook G4 before early next year and if then given the size of the heatsink on the G4 in my convection-cooled Power Mac G4 Cube. The G4s run very hot just like the PowerPC 604x family. Then again, my first G3 CPU upgrade card had a heatsink the size of the card and it got too hot to comfortably touch so who knows...? But not at Seybold is my guess.
