Kristen Nygaard Dead at Age 75
Prof. Nygaard was the inventor of the programming language Simula which led to MS-DOS, Java and C++ according to this Nando Times article. A University of Oslo professor, he died in Oslo, Norway, on Saturday. [Dana Baggett]
