NVIDIA OS 9 Drivers v2.6 Out?

Accelerate Your Mac! has a reader report claiming that the new drivers are available via the Software Update control panel. However, it doesn't appear on our Cube with NVIDIA GeForce2 MX graphics and v2.4 drivers from OS 9.2.2. Perhaps the new drivers are for a particular NVIDIA chip set like the new GeForce4 MX.
