Apple Gets "A+" in PC Magazine Survey

along with Dell according to this article. Enough Mac users responded to the survey this year for Apple to be included in the results. In addition:

  • Mac OS X is the most stable (least "lock ups") PC OS.
  • Apple had the best out of box experience for desktops, on par with Gateway.
  • Apple was one of three to get an "A" in laptop service & reliability.
  • Apple was one of three to get an "A" in the laptop home use category.
  • Apple's PowerBook was one of two to get a better than average rating in laptop first year satisfaction.
  • Apple was number one in laptop stability (least "lockups").
  • Apple was one of two to get an "A" for servers, along with Dell.
