Apple Released Power Mac G5 (Late 2004) Firmware Update for Single 1.8GHz CPU Model

The update is available for download from this Apple Web page. It works with Mac OS X 10.4.3 and later. The Read Me file states:

"...improves the reliability of your Power Mac G5, especially after it has been inactive for two hours."

We do not have one of these machines upon which to test the firmware update. [Bill Fox]
