If you downloaded QuickTime 3.0b2 before Friday, December 5th, I recommend that you do it again and get the December 5th file with installed files that have a December 3rd creation date. I had some bad CD sound problems, i.e. stuttering and wavering, that I ascribed to the application until I installed the updated QT 3.0b2c3. Better yet, since this is a 5.4 MB download and a beta you may wish to stick with QT 2.5 for now.
