New Mac Games

Between Micro Center and CompUSA I found the three new Mac games (Rainbow 6, Descent III and Madden 2000) over the weekend. I hope Quake III Arena for the Mac comes out soon. With the Windows version out it is getting harder and harder to find a Q3A internet server that doesn't require a CD key to play.

First Touch--AirPort Base Station On A Combo Network Rocks!: I set up my ABS this afternoon. Even with a glitch caused by a loose connection to the ethernet hub, the ABS was set up and running on my home/office network in minutes. That's right *minutes* and not hours or days. I'm no super SysAd so I'm not bragging. I just followed directions explicitly. The ABS is the best thing since sliced bread. I have been using it for many hours now without one disconnect or other glitch. Apple's AirPort wireless networking is terrific. More on the ABS and hooking up the iBook later. [Shortened for Monday.
