Sears Demo Days Report

From Chris Turkel, "Here is my final demo day report (no more Demo Days). My Sears (Cheshire, MA) is too small for the iMovie demo but that hardly mattered. The iMac is competing against rebates from Compaq and HP. You can argue the superiority of the Mac all day (like I did) but people see $$$, not quality. Overall, I think Sears is indifferent to the Mac. Most sales associates won't even mention the iMac as an option because they think customers are only interested in PCs. But despite this, the iMac remains this Sears's #1 selling computer. I think Apple and Sears need to be more agressive in their advertising and to also offer rebates on all the Mac models."
