From the Dark Side--Judge Rejected M$ Private Antitrust Settlement

according to this CNet article. The Microsoft settlement of $1 billion in cash, software and training for needy schools was rejected by Baltimore US District Judge Motz because it could be inadequate and because it is itself anticompetitive as pointed out by Apple Computer. Apple asked that the settlement be just in cash to not give Microsoft a windfall entry into a market that it does not already monopolize.
