Apple Released New iMacs and Price Drops on iMacs and eMacs

The 17" iMac now has a 1 GHz G4, 133 MHZ system bus, DDR RAM, a 4x SuperDrive, Bluetooth ready and AirPort Extreme ready for only $1799 becoming possibly the best general desktop computer ever, even though we still like the design of the G4 Cube better. The low-end 15" iMac is discontinued and the price of the $1499 model with DVD/CD-RW combo drive drops to $1299. The 700 MHz eMac is now only $999 and the 800 MHz model with SuperDrive is $1299. Here is Apple's press release.
